Prof. Fung wins Silver Circle Award!
Our own Prof. Leslie Wo-Mei Fung has won the 2018 Silver Circle Award! Since 1966 the Silver Circle is the highest teaching honor that the University bestows upon the faculty. Prof. Fung will be honored at the LAS Commencement on May 13. When asked about the effect of being nominated for the award by the graduating senior body, Prof. Fung replied, "Humbling and energized. It is a recognition and confirmation of my teaching approach." See UIC News for further details.
