Desire Torres Wins at 3MT Competition!
Desire Ortiz Torres has won the Second Place Award at the Three Minute Thesis Competition at the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools Conference that was held in Milwaukee Wisconsin on Friday April 8, 2022. Desire competed against a group of 40 finalists who were first place winners at various Midwestern universities. Desire was selected by a panel of judges as the second-place winner for the entire competition. She will go on to represent UIC at the Council of Graduate Schools 3MT Three Minute Thesis Showcase in San Francisco, California in December 2022! Read more about it here.
