UIC Researchers Achieve Breakthrough in 3D Brain Imaging

Congratulations to Professor Ruixuan Gao and graduate student Wei Wang on their recent publication in Science, titled “Mesoscale volumetric fluorescence imaging at nanoscale resolution by photochemical sectioning.”
Their innovative technique enables high-resolution, three-dimensional reconstruction of brain cells without physical contact, marking a major advance in neuroscience imaging.
