To ensure the safety and preparedness of all UIC Chemistry undergraduate students, the department requires that laboratory participants review essential training materials before and during their lab courses. The following videos provide clear guidance on proper laboratory safety protocols and demonstrations, as well as specific procedures to follow in the event of a spill. Students, teaching assistants, and instructors are expected to familiarize themselves with these resources so that laboratory activities can be conducted in a safe, responsible, and professional manner.
