The Department of Chemistry at UIC is thrilled to announce that Dr. Andy Nguyen has been awarded the highly prestigious NSF CAREER Award. This honor recognizes his groundbreaking research and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.
Dr. Nguyen’s achievement is even more remarkable as he currently holds a DOE Early Career Award and a NIH MIRA Award, making him only the second individual (following Dr. Neal) in our department’s history to simultaneously receive grant support from NSF, NIH, and DOE.
This recognition underscores Dr. Nguyen’s exceptional contributions to his field and his dedication to pushing the boundaries of discovery.
