Chemistry Career and Undergraduate Research Fair
The Department of Chemistry will host the Career and Undergraduate Research Fair on April 21st. There are speakers from Lilly, AbbVie, and DTI, who will discuss their career paths, as well as an LAS representative who will discuss the resources UIC has for assisting students with career advice in chemistry, biochemistry, and chemistry-related fields. We also plan to have undergraduates and graduate students present posters to encourage students interested in STEM to consider undergraduate research and a chemistry career path. Breakout sessions will also give students opportunities to talk to the speakers and groups of undergraduate and graduate researchers.
