Dr. Marvin Parasram wins Outstanding Thesis Award!

Introduction
Congratulations to alum Dr. Marvin Parasram on being selected to receive a 2018 Annual Graduate College Outstanding Thesis and Dissertation Award for his doctoral dissertation titled “Development of Heck and Desaturation Reactions Involving Novel Hybrid Palladium-Radical Intermediates”. The Annual Graduate College Outstanding Thesis and Dissertation Award is given to the most outstanding doctoral dissertation or master's thesis in each of the four Graduate Program divisions: Arts and Humanities (AH), Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSS), Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences (EMPS), Life Sciences (LS). Dr. Parasram received his Ph.D. under the guidance of LAS Distinguished Prof. Vladimir Gevorgyan in 2017. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Abigail Doyle’s (A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Chemistry) laboratory at Princeton University.
