Nan Jiang wins CAREER!
Prof. Nan Jiang has received the recommendation of his proposal, entitled “CAREER: Probing Chemistry of Surface-Supported Nanostructure at the Angstrom-Scale”, as a CAREER Award from National Science Foundation. The CAREER is a prestigious award supporting early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization. Prof. Jiang was awarded for using his novel approach (tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy) to study the mechanisms that underlie the intricate interactions between single molecules and underlying surface with angstrom-scale spatial resolution.
