New Faculty Andy Nguyen!
Andy Nguyen was recently hired by UIC Chemistry Dept.
The UIC Chemistry Department recently hired Dr. Andy Nguyen as our newest Inorganic / Bioinorganic chemistry faculty member! Prof. Nguyen's research aims to transpose the features that make metalloproteins highly effective functional molecules into synthetic inorganic complexes to create efficient catalysts and molecular machines. Andy comes to us from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab where he is doing a postdoc with Dr. Ronald Zuckermann; previously Andy received a Ph.D. from U.C. Berkeley with Prof. T. Don Tilley. Welcome Andy!
